Karen is a self-taught artist known for her realistic depictions of nature, and Newfoundland scenery. She was born in Hearts Delight, Trinity Bay; and she now resides in Whiteway. Karen has always felt more at peace surrounded by nature, and she spends many of her days painting and admiring the landscapes and stunning nature surrounding her pond-side studio.

Karen has always had a creative spark and enjoyed artistic pursuits, and has decided to pursue art as a professional in 2023. She specializes in acrylic paints, but has begun experimenting with mixed media and oils.
